To all Lotus Sutra scholars around the world.

Dr ueki

The Lotus Sutra uses the word "Ku" but does not preach about emptiness at all. It also uses the word "samadhi" but does not preach about how to practice samadhi at all. The Lotus Sutra preaches about alms, which are called "five kinds of priests," and does not preach about how to practice at all. Therefore, it is clear that the Lotus Sutra was created as a sutra for blessings. Dr. Ueki Masatoshi, a Buddhist thought researcher, preaches a really hard to believe theory about the Lotus Sutra. He claims that the Lotus Sutra is a sutra for practice, even though the Lotus Sutra does not preach about how to practice at all. Dr. Ueki's Soka Gakkai is a fake, and I think his family's sect is Jodo Shinshu or Christianity.

It is a lie that esoteric Buddhism is an imitation of the Lotus Sutra, that esoteric Buddhism is a powerful sorcery that can kill people, or that esoteric Buddhism's sorcery is dangerous. It is the Lotus Sutra that is dangerous. The true teaching of the Lotus Sutra is, as Kishimojin and Rakshasa say, "If you interfere with the followers of the Lotus Sutra, your head will explode into seven pieces." It is written that anyone who interferes with the Lotus Sutra or its followers will have their head explode into seven pieces. This is also written in the Soka Gakkai mandala.

The Lotus Sutra was established more than 500 years after the death of Shakyamuni. At the time the Lotus Sutra was written, Shakyamuni was already a legendary figure. The author of the Lotus Sutra probably did not even know where Vulture Peak was. Since the Lotus Sutra is a scripture that preaches the "Tathagata system," it contains many irrational passages and fictitious content. Incidentally, Kukai of the Shingon sect is a person who understands the true value of the Lotus Sutra. Esoteric Buddhism cannot exist without the Lotus Sutra. Shakyamuni, the founder of the Lotus Sutra, is a superhuman who distorts the historical Shakyamuni. Indians, who love the protection of the gods and Buddhas, are indifferent to history and have arbitrarily created Buddha and made him into a superman. That is Indians. Masatoshi Ueki, a disciple of Dr. Gen Nakamura, claims that the Lotus Sutra has nothing to do with esoteric Buddhism. However, without the patent of the Lotus Sutra, esoteric Buddhism would not exist. Dr. Ueki claims that the ideas of the latter six sections of the Lotus Sutra are different, but this is incorrect. The concept of incarnation in the Lotus Sutra comes from Brahmanism and is preached throughout the Lotus Sutra, and appears in the preface. Not only Kannon Bodhisattva, but also Shakyamuni Buddha and Myo-on Bodhisattva are incarnations. Dr. Ueki is trying to separate the Kannon Sutra from the Lotus Sutra. The reason is that in Soka Gakkai, it is believed that the Lotus Sutra is carried out by Bodhisattva Jogyo. Ueki also says that the Lotus Sutra was created to eliminate the prejudice between Hinayana Buddhism and Mahayana Buddhism. However, there are few Mahayana sutras older than the Lotus Sutra. He also states that the Lotus Sutra satirizes fictional Buddhas. However, it is the Lotus Sutra that gave birth to fictional Buddhas. The Lotus Sutra was created as a holy scripture, and even comes standard with defenses against external enemies (guardian deities and dharani). Unfortunately, the Bodhisattva Jogyo, who is considered to be the Daishonin himself by the Fuji sect and Soka Gakkai, is actually the god Brahma. The doctor says that the belief in Kannon in the Lotus Sutra was added. However, there is no archaeological evidence. The Lotus Sutra is a "scripture of worldly benefits," and the Bodhisattva Kannon is the guardian deity of Lotus Sutra practitioners. And it was the author of the Lotus Sutra who introduced the Kannon belief, which was a folk belief, into Buddhism. The Lotus Sutra is the "central scripture of Kannon belief" and the "pioneer scripture that introduced Shingon to Mahayana Buddhism."

Wikipedia claims that the role of the Prajnaparamita Sutra as a bridge to esoteric Buddhism cannot be ignored, but this is not true. The Prajnaparamita Sutra was esotericized around the 7th century, but it was not involved in the esotericization of Mahayana Buddhism. The bridge to esoteric Buddhism is the Avatamsaka Sutra. Many religious groups that believe in Nichiren claim that the Lotus Sutra is the teaching of Shakyamuni and has nothing to do with esoteric Buddhism. This may be convenient for temples related to the Kannon faith. However, if we ignore the faith, the Lotus Sutra is clearly the origin of esoteric Buddhism. The reason why the Lotus Sutra developed into the Avatamsaka Sutra and esoteric Buddhism is that at the beginning of the Avatamsaka Sutra, there is an expression that Vairocana Buddha emits majesty from between his eyebrows, which is clearly a copy of the Lotus Sutra. In addition to this, imitations of the Lotus Sutra can be seen everywhere. Therefore, the Avatamsaka Sutra was created in an attempt to surpass the Lotus Sutra. The Lotus Sutra takes the bold approach of fictionalizing Shakyamuni Buddha himself. However, in the Avatamsaka Sutra, Vairocana Buddha is introduced as a Dharmakaya Buddha, an incarnation of the law (the truth of the universe itself) that surpasses Shakyamuni Buddha. In other words, they tried to surpass the Lotus Sutra by establishing Vairocana Buddha. However, the Dharmakaya Buddha cannot preach. There is no way that an incarnation of the law can preach. If the audience is ordinary people, only Shakyamuni Buddha, who has a human body, can preach so that they can hear. That is why in the Avatamsaka Sutra, Vairocana Buddha is called the Buddha of Silence. Instead, Vajrayana Bodhisattva, another name for Samantabhadra Bodhisattva who appears in the Lotus Sutra, acts as an intermediary between Shakyamuni Buddha and the Buddha. However, in the Mahavairocana Sutra, the story has changed to Vairocana Buddha breaking his silence and preaching to Vajrayana Bodhisattva. The opening line of the Mahavairocana Sutra, "Thus I have heard," refers to Vajrayana Bodhisattva. Then who was listening to the conversation? For this reason, in the Shingon sect, it is said that Nagarjuna received the sutra from Vajrayana Bodhisattva at a tower in South India. In this way, esoteric Buddhism overcame difficulties and developed from the Lotus Sutra to the Avatamsaka Sutra and the Mahavairocana Sutra, and esoteric Buddhism was completed. In the Shingon sect's "Unsolved Documents," the Nara period monk Tokuichi asked who the "I" in the opening line of the "Mahavairocana Sutra" is. Kukai, whom Tokuichi asked, only mentioned the eleventh question in the "Kofuhoden," "The Question of the Iron Tower," and ignored the rest. As a result, in later generations, he was repeatedly refuted not only by Shingon but also by Tendai sects.

In addition, Amida Buddha is a new Buddha that was created when Buddhism went west and encountered the Zoroastrian god of light, Ahura Mazda, in order to compete with him. He appealed to the paradise of this Buddha's land in order to attract the local people to Buddhism, and preached salvation after death rather than worldly benefits. Only the Pure Land Sutra is monotheistic, and Ikkoshu means monotheistic. Only Jodo Shinshu does not issue "shrine seals." Jodo Shinshu completely excludes fortune telling, sorcery, supernatural powers, amulets, prayers, telekinesis, and training. Therefore, you cannot get a temple seal at any Jodo Shinshu temple. Generally speaking, the act of "visiting a temple" does not exist in Jodo Shinshu. Jodo Shinshu only allows you to listen to the lectures of wise people (those who are well versed in the teachings of Buddha). The Prajnaparamita Sutra preaches "emptiness," and the Lotus Sutra preaches, so to speak, "branching out." For example, let's say there is a ramen shop called "Nyorai." The manager is Nyorai. The disciples train there, and when they are able to reproduce the taste of the shop, the manager allows them to "branch out" the shop.

Ueki's teacher was Professor Nakamura Gen of the Jodo Shinshu sect. Nakamura Gen's family temple is Shinkoji (Jodo Shinshu) in Okutani-cho, Matsue City, and his funeral was held at Tsukiji Honganji. A scholar should make his sect public, but Ueki Masatoshi has not declared his affiliation to the Soka Gakkai. He is also suspected of being a Christian. There are many puzzling points, such as how he met Nakamura and why Nakamura, who is supposed to be an authority on Sanskrit, did not translate the Lotus Sutra himself. Despite being an authority on Sanskrit, Nakamura entrusted the translation to Ueki Masatoshi, who has a science background. Ueki dropped out of the Graduate School of Letters at Toyo University, majoring in Buddhist studies. If he had graduated, he would have majored in Buddhist studies and obtained a doctorate. However, he dropped out of university and became the first man to obtain a doctorate by dissertation at the Graduate School of Gender Studies at Ochanomizu University. The title of the paper was "A Study of Gender Equality in Buddhism: From Indian Buddhism to the Lotus Sutra," and although it was about Buddhism, it was not his area of expertise.
